New sites now come with built-in guidance that stops a brand-new page from getting stuck showing "page not found" to every visitor in the moments right after you publish it. That guidance used to live only in our internal toolkit — now it ships with your site, ready whenever you need it.
• 📊 Even more trustworthy Search Console numbers. Your traffic and ranking reports just got more careful: real page-and-keyword matching instead of guesswork, honest labels when a number is capped or estimated, and a smarter view that won't hide a real change in your rankings behind noisy day-to-day swings.
• 🧰 Housekeeping under the hood. New sites also start on fresher, more secure versions of the tools they're built with, and we tightened up the toolkit's own internal checks — nothing you'll notice day to day, but it keeps future updates smooth and safe.
• 🔁 Already have a site and use Search Console insights? Nothing changes on its own. Ask your assistant: "refresh my site's Search Console skill to the latest website-builder version" — it'll bring the more accurate reporting to your existing site.
