• You can now send emails from Bar Assistant if you have the correct settings
  • To configure SMTP, set the following ENV variables:
    • MAIL_HOST=
    • MAIL_PORT=

  • To request other drivers that Laravel supports, open a new github issue
• Added POST /forgot-password endpoint
  • You can use this endpoint to request a password change email
  • You must set the reset URL by setting MAIL_RESET_URL env variable
    • For example: MAIL_RESET_URL="https://bar.local/reset-password?token=[token]"

  • You can use this endpoint to reset the password with confirmation key from the email
• Added MAIL_REQUIRE_CONFIRMATION env variable, (false by default)
  • If you enable this, users will have to verify their accounts via link in a email before authenticating

Changes

• Enabled sqlite WAL mode
• From now, passwords can't be shorter than 5 chars
• Improved tag matching, tags are now matched by their lowercase name, and duplicates are ignored
• Removed some properties from a public cocktail endpoint response: main_image_id, images.file_path, images.id.
