What's New

This release makes the Settings Back button work even when Desktop has no previous page, restores the Codex usage warning preference, and displays Grok Imagine images in conversations.

Features

• Display Grok Imagine-generated images directly in Desktop conversations.
• Restore the Hide Codex usage warning setting, enabled by default, across Composers including Codex threads.

Fixes

• Keep Back enabled while codexhost Settings is open. Clicking Back or using its keyboard shortcut closes Settings and returns to the current conversation.
• Restore Desktop's original Back behavior when Settings closes.
• Keep Composer Send independent of the native account-wide Codex usage warning while preserving other submission restrictions.

Download the installer matching your OS and CPU architecture from this release: macOS arm64 or x64, or Windows arm64 or x64. Linux arm64 and x64 are available through npm.

macOS Gatekeeper

If macOS displays a verification warning after installation, run this command in Terminal and reopen codexhost:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/codexhost.app
