What's New

This release improves external-agent voice conversations, including task handoffs, follow-up questions, and live chat updates after hanging up.

Fixes

• Keep replies, tool cards, and completion indicators updating after voice ends, including later text messages in the same chat.
• Start agent work when the voice service hands off a request, without waiting for the final speech transcript.
• Include earlier user and agent messages when reopening voice in an existing external-agent chat.
• Return agent answers through supported voice events so the call can stay connected for follow-up questions.
• Treat delayed stop requests for an old or completed task as already stopped, preserving any newer task.

Download the installer matching your OS and CPU architecture from this release: macOS arm64 or x64, or Windows arm64 or x64. Linux arm64 and x64 are available through npm.

macOS Gatekeeper

If macOS displays a verification warning after installation, run this command in Terminal and reopen codexhost:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/codexhost.app
