What's New

Features

  • Configure Chat and Work voice from a shared Voice settings page in Desktop or the local console, with explicit apply actions and pending-state feedback.
  • Restart the managed Desktop from the console or with codexhost restart, with confirmation and startup status.

Fixes

  • Apply the selected Grok reasoning effort to the native CLI, including High and Max for custom models.
  • Recognize grokgod-managed Grok and clawgod-managed Claude installations, show their installed versions, and leave updates to their patch managers.
  • Keep native ChatGPT voice attached to the correct conversation when starting from a draft or moving between conversations, and select adopted drafts only after the native connection is ready.
  • Route external Harness voice through the configured gateway using the native request's model metadata.
  • Preserve read-only native subagent views and show each child's observed model and reasoning effort without copying the parent's configuration.
  • Wait for the previous controller process to exit during restart and keep console restart controls readable on narrow windows.

macOS Gatekeeper

If macOS displays “Apple cannot verify this app” after installation, run this command and reopen codexhost:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/codexhost.app
