• Adds Insights: recent charges, observed parked battery changes, and a daily-distance battery planner with reserve.
• Adds optional tyre-check reminders learned from comparable ride efficiency. These suggest an inspection; they do not measure tyre pressure or detect punctures.
• Shows phone location directly from Android without app-side averaging or movement filters. Phone updates are requested every second while the map is open; scooter positions use the latest cloud reports, with five-second snapshot checks.
• Improves compass reliability and map gestures, and requests refresh rates up to 144 Hz across the app on supported phones.
• Adds ride-route history and improves charging-time estimates from observed charging speed.
• Simplifies Charging and Insights, fixes charging text contrast, and reduces redundant background notification updates.

This is an optimized, non-debuggable release with code and resource shrinking. It uses the existing signing key so installation over the previous app preserves login, settings, and history.

On v1.1.16, open Settings → App updates → Check now to see this version. Review the notes and choose Download/Install when ready. Automatic update checks may take up to six hours on opening the app, or longer when Android delays background work.

Athr+ v1.1.16

Phone and OTP sign-in now supports a searchable country picker with India (+91) selected by default. Paste international numbers, enter country-specific phone lengths, and resend SMS codes with a countdown. OTP availability depends on the account provider supporting your country.

Maps now animate heading changes on display frames, take the shortest rotation path across north, and support smoother inertial panning. While a map is visible, the app requests the fastest supported refresh rate up to 144 Hz. Actual frame rate depends on your device, Android settings, and WebView; 144 Hz performance has not been measured on a physical device.

Install Athr+-v1.1.16-release.apk over your existing release app to keep your login, settings, and history. Requires Android 8.0 or newer. Version 1.1.16, build 19, uses the original signing certificate and an optimized, non-debuggable release build.

Validation: release build and lint checks passed, along with six phone-number tests and browser map gesture/animation tests. The full unit suite retains 14 failures also reproduced on the unchanged baseline.

Assets include the APK, SHA-256 checksum, and update metadata for the in-app updater.

Athr+ 1.1.15 (build 18) updates the dashboard, home-screen widget, charging monitor, and app update experience.

Installation

Download Athr+-v1.1.15-release.apk and install it over your existing Athr+ app. Requires Android 8.0+. Keep the existing app installed to retain login, settings, and history.

Users on v1.1.2 must install this updater-enabled release manually once. Future stable releases appear in the app; Settings → App updates → Check now also checks immediately. Automatic checks occur on opening the app at most once every six hours and approximately daily in the background, subject to Android scheduling. Installation always requires your confirmation.

Release verification

This is the optimized, non-debuggable release build with R8 code optimization, resource shrinking, and release-mode Rust compilation. It preserves the original app signing certificate so existing installs can update without uninstalling:

The APK's SHA-256 checksum is supplied in the .apk.sha256 asset and update.json, which also identifies version code 18. Release source/history and APK contents were checked for credential patterns and known local account values. Private session files and the signing keystore are excluded from the release.

The scooter/cloud can return older readings even when the app requests data every five seconds. Charge-time estimates are approximate; automatic stopping requires the app's monitoring/background execution, a working connection, and the scooter accepting the command.

This v1.1.15 release was revised to build 18 to include the support section. The public version and download filename remain the same.
