First release.

Click an app in the Dock and its window on the screen you clicked from comes forward, instead of the one you used last. Click again to go to its window on the other screen. Works with full-screen windows and windows on other desktops (Spaces).

Install

  1. Download SameSide.dmg below, open it and drag SameSide onto Applications.
  2. Open SameSide. macOS says "SameSide" Not Opened: click Done. SameSide is free and not registered with Apple's paid developer program; the full source is in this repository.
  3. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to SameSide, then confirm. macOS asks this only once.
  4. Allow SameSide in Privacy & Security > Accessibility when asked (on macOS 27: "Device Control and Data Access").
  5. Optional: add it to System Settings > General > Login Items and keep it on under Background App Activity.
