On first launch, macOS may take a few seconds to verify the app. That's normal.
[0.3.1] - 2026-10-03
Changed
- Apache-2.0. OpenLive is now licensed under Apache-2.0 instead of MIT. Copies
and forks keep theNOTICEfile, and every installer now carriesLICENSE,
NOTICEandTHIRD_PARTY_NOTICESin its resources. 0.3.0 and earlier stay MIT
for anyone who already has them. - Installers list the libraries inside them. The build now writes
THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt: every library bundled in the web server, the agent
and the native code, with its version, SPDX license, license text and NOTICE
text, shipped in the app's resources. The build fails on a missing license
text or a license outside an allowlist of permissive ones. - THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES credits Orb. The Wave Orb is ported from
LerSent001/orb (MIT); its notice is now reproduced as that license requires. - Flow and Dictate show how to use them as three steps. Open, Talk and Close
(Start, Talk and Stop in Dictate) are tiles with your keys, instead of one
sentence that wrapped mid-phrase. They stack in a narrow window. How long
before it closes on silence is in Settings, and so is editing a selection by
voice. - Dictate's Settings sits by its status, like Flow's, instead of under the
history. - Content scrolls behind the mode switch. On the Chat, Flow and Dictate
homes, and in Settings, what scrolls up goes behind the switch or title bar and
fades there, instead of being cut at an edge.
