Application and Strudel

This combined application is licensed AGPL-3.0-or-later. Strudel, SuperDough and their corresponding source notices are retained. See Strudel integration for the upstream links, source availability and the documented WebKit compatibility transform.

Media, fonts and artwork

• Original starter samples and example scores: CC0-1.0. Created specifically for this project, using deterministic synthesis in scripts/generate-samples.py. Original drums use the xxc_ prefix; tone and xxc_wt retain their names.
• JetBrains Mono: SIL Open Font License 1.1. The self-hosted variable WOFF2 font comes from @fontsource-variable/jetbrains-mono; the cover-generation TTF is JetBrains Mono v2.304 from the official JetBrains repository. Full OFL text is in LICENSES/JetBrains-Mono-OFL.txt.
• Lucide SVG icons: ISC license, retained below.
• Original programmatic identity graphics: distributed with the AGPL application. Brand names and marks remain those of their respective owners.
• README banner: supplied by the project owner at assets/strudel_xxc_dk_readme_banner.png. It is not presented as a third-party asset or relicensed sample pack.
• Hydra: hydra-synth is AGPL-3.0; loaded on demand.
• The official soundfont package registers 125 General MIDI instruments; audio variants load from the upstream host on first use. No complete soundfont bank is bundled. Installed sample collections have separate attribution and published license status in LICENSES/samples and Sample banks.
• The header and project-page hexagon trails are an original Canvas implementation inspired by towc’s particle study; no CodePen script or remote dependency is embedded.
• The music-video renderer and its overlay layers are original application code. Inspected visual studies and artist credits are listed in Visualizer; no scripts or assets from those demonstrations are bundled.
• Operator-supplied VJ media is excluded from Git. Pack 1 credits Beeple and retains its supplied notice; Packs 2 and 3 have no supplied license notice. See VJ Loops for the import and attribution record.
• Browser media encoders are platform components. FFmpeg and its codecs are host tooling; no FFmpeg binary is redistributed by this repository.
