Supported Devices

This integration supports devices via two separate Husqvarna APIs. Each API can be enabled independently, or both can be added in parallel using two integration entries.

Gardena Smart System API

All Gardena devices also expose common diagnostic sensors (battery level, RF signal strength) when the device reports them.

A Gardena Smart Gateway is required for all Gardena devices — they connect to the Husqvarna cloud via the gateway, not directly.

Automower Connect API

Compatible models include (but are not limited to) Husqvarna Automower 305, 315, 405X, 435X AWD, 450X, and NERA series.

SILENO mowers are supported through the Gardena Smart System API (above), not through the Automower Connect API. The Automower Connect API is for Husqvarna-branded Automower models only.

Automowers do not require a Gardena Smart Gateway — they connect directly to the Husqvarna cloud over Wi-Fi or cellular.

Capability-Based Entities

Some entities are only created when the device reports the corresponding capability:

• GPS / device_tracker — only for Automower models with GPS hardware. Disabled by default for privacy.
• Headlight switch and select — only for Automower models with controllable headlights.
• Stay-out zone switches — one switch per defined stay-out zone.
• Work-area switches and per-area cutting height — only for Automower models that support work areas (e.g. EPOS / NERA).
