to upgrade, just extract the install archive on top of your existing your MariLink v1.1.1 or v1.1.2 instance,
If you're running v1.1.0, v1.0.1, or v1.0.0, copy the db.json and config.json to the cloned source code folder. then, add your clientID to banlist.json
