AI Reader 1.3.2: Generation activity indicator

• Add a looping blue activity bar at the bottom of the native Stop button while a request is running. It indicates activity without estimating completion.
• Keep the Stop button clickable. Hide the bar when the response completes, fails, or is stopped.
• Respect the system reduced-motion preference with a static indicator.

Validation: TypeScript checks and all 94 automated tests passed. Native Zotero integration fixtures passed 54 sidebar checks and 24 language checks on macOS with Zotero 10.0.6, using isolated storage and simulated responses. Existing drafts and configuration were preserved during installation.

AI Reader 1.3.1: Native settings polish

• Remove repeated help paragraphs from Settings while keeping the editable system prompt and validation messages.
• Make the color picker and hex field compact, with a fixed single-line height.
• Give the system prompt a full-width editor with even padding.
• Add README screenshots of the native reading sidebar and settings, using a sample conversation and example endpoint.

Validation: TypeScript checks and all 94 automated tests passed. The native settings fixture passed 48 checks and the language fixture passed 24 checks on macOS with Zotero 10.0.6, using isolated storage and simulated responses. Layout was checked at 304- and 760-pixel widths.

Download the XPI below and update through Zotero’s add-on manager. Existing configuration and conversation storage formats are unchanged.

AI Reader 1.3.0: Chinese and English interface

• Add Chinese and English interface selection in Settings. Preview changes immediately; Save settings applies and remembers the choice.
• Translate sidebar controls, history, source labels, settings, selection actions, and status messages.
• Preserve unsent questions, quotations, endpoint drafts, and active responses when switching languages. Existing messages, paper titles, and custom system prompts keep their original text.
• Remove the persistent reading hint below the paper permissions.
• Make the README entirely English while keeping its centered header and badges.

Existing installations keep Chinese until the language is changed in Settings. Interface language does not control the language of model answers; use the system prompt or your question for that.

Validation: TypeScript checks, 94 automated tests, and 187 native Zotero integration checks passed on macOS with Zotero 10.0.6. Native language checks used isolated memory storage and simulated responses.

Install zotero-ai-reader-1.3.0.xpi manually through Zotero’s add-on manager. Existing conversations and endpoint settings are preserved.

AI Reader 1.2.0: On-demand lookup and reading preferences

• Search other papers only when the model judges that the current question needs comparison or additional evidence. Lookup stays within the same Zotero library and is not limited to the current collection.
• Fix wrapped source titles and place PDF page labels on separate rows.
• Add collapsible endpoint cards that preserve unsaved model and key drafts; newly added endpoints open automatically.
• Give user messages a light blue default background, with a color picker, hex input, preview, reset, and contrasting text in settings.

Lookup uses an additional request to the configured endpoint. Disable 按需查文库 to skip it. The interface remains Chinese.

Validation: TypeScript checks, 81 automated tests, and 147 native Zotero integration checks passed. Reading checks used real local PDFs with simulated model decisions and responses; they do not measure real-model routing or answer accuracy.

Install zotero-ai-reader-1.2.0.xpi manually through Zotero's add-on manager. Existing conversations, drafts, and endpoint settings are preserved.

验证：55 项自动化测试、36 项真实 Zotero 历史页检查、48 项侧栏回归检查、25 项真实 PDF 读取检查通过；实际页码跳转已核对。接口响应使用模拟数据，未评估真实模型回答质量。

AI Reader 1.1.0 · 原文读取与文库联查

提问时自动读取当前论文的本地 PDF，并按问题联查同一 Zotero 文库中最多 3 篇相关论文，无需手动复制原文。回答显示材料来源，支持点击有效页码定位 PDF。

新增“读取原文”和“联查文库”开关。原文与片段会随问题发送到所选接口；会话仅保存问答与来源信息，不保存自动提取的全文。扫描 PDF 暂不支持 OCR。

验证：55 项自动化测试、25 项真实 PDF 集成检查及 48 项侧栏回归检查通过。集成检查使用模拟模型响应，不代表真实模型回答准确性。
