Fixed

  • Off-by-one in multi-image dimension threshold — the 21st image was incorrectly checked against the lenient 8000px single-image limit instead of the correct 2000px multi-image limit. Fixed by changing > 20 to >= 20 (since sessionImageCount is pre-increment at check time).
  • Stateful module-level regex — DATA_URL_REGEX with the /g flag was declared at module scope, making lastIndex a shared hazard across calls. Moved inside findDataUrlsInString as a local variable, eliminating the shared state.
  • Unhelpful log on unknown-dimension block — when an image's dimensions couldn't be read, the block log omitted the image's byte size, making it impossible to diagnose why a small valid image was blocked. Log now includes the estimated byte size.
