KeepKey Vault v1.5.8 prerelease

This prerelease focuses on startup diagnostics and release reliability.

Changes

  • Adds a native Windows startup-failure support report for cases where the launcher remains in Task Manager without opening the Vault UI.
  • Updates the Zcash sidecar to patched rand 0.8.6 while retaining shielded-transaction randomness coverage.
  • Moves pinned Electrobun core inputs outside application releases and hardens the macOS release pipeline.
  • Enforces the macOS 13 deployment floor after Electrobun packaging and audits every bundled Mach-O before and after signing.

Available builds

  • macOS Apple Silicon: signed, notarized, stapled, and Gatekeeper verified.
  • macOS Intel: signed, notarized, stapled, Gatekeeper verified, and launch-smoke tested on a native Intel runner.
  • Linux x86_64: AppImage and Debian package.
  • Windows: pending the post-release-branch Windows signing and validation pass; the Windows asset will be added to this prerelease afterward.
