Hi,
I’ve released Ferriteweazle, a modern, open-source, cross-platform GUI front-end for Greaseweazle Tools.
It is written in Rust and has packaged releases for macOS, Windows and Linux, covering x86-64 and ARM64. It has full Greaseweazle Tools parity, also includes basic disk-format detection, batch operations, log viewer and command editor with the whole intention of making using a Greaseweazle more approachable for non-CLI folk with a UI that's nice to use.
Version 1.4.0 adds disk analysis which creates a map of each side of the disk, coloured by how gw decoded each sector or by the flux it read, with ability to click and view each sectors bytes.
Would you be willing to include it on the Software Installation wiki page?
Since the existing GUI links are currently inside the Windows section, perhaps a platform-neutral “Graphical front ends” section before the OS-specific instructions would work:
Ferriteweazle - macOS, Windows and Linux
I’m happy to adjust any wording, compatibility approach, etc. if there’s anything you’d prefer / like changing first.
Thanks for creating and maintaining Greaseweazle!
