Download Chordmap-for-Mac-1.0.1.dmg (macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon)
Open the DMG, drag the app to Applications, open it. The first time, macOS says the app is from an unidentified developer: right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. That is once.
Built and tested on macOS 27. Chordmap for Mac 1.0.1 is built with the macOS 27 SDK and tested on macOS 27: the self-test, the command line against this Mac's own audio devices, and the windows in light and dark.
What changed. On macOS 26 and later the app now draws in the current macOS look, and the sidebar's "Nothing yet" line wraps instead of being cut off. The engine is the same chordmap crate as in 1.0.0, so every chart comes out exactly as it did.
What it asks for. Unchanged: System Audio Recording, once, to hear what the Mac plays; the Microphone, once, only if you pick an input device. Nothing is recorded with either, and nothing leaves the Mac except the optional daily check of this page for a new version.
