Compatible apps / "Outdated apps", "Obsolete" & "Orphaned" extensions, unable to install/update extensions

Read the entire message first to learn about which apps are compatible with our extensions, and how to resolve the issues you are having.

For the following "issues":

• "Outdated app"
• "Obsolete" & "Orphaned" extensions
• Unable to install/update extensions

Compatible apps:

• Keiyoushi has fully dropped compatibility with outdated apps, make a backup & switch to/update your app to the latest version (compatible versions listed below):
  • Mihon (0.20.1+)
  • TachiyomiSY (1.13.2+)
  • Komikku (1.14.1+)

Steps to take:

• After switching/updating to the latest compatible app version, if you run into the any of the following issues:
  • "Obsolete" / "Orphaned" extensions

1. "Obsolete" label on your extension means you're not on the latest version of a compatible app. Read the section above again.
2. "Orphaned" extensions could mean two things:

• The extension was removed/replaced with a newer version, check the Keiyoushi extensions listing page or check in Keiyoushi Discord support channel.
• If all extensions are labeled as "Orphaned", do the optional steps section below:

Optional steps:

1. In your app's Settings > Browse > Extension stores, remove all extension stores/repo URLs.
2. Go to Keiyoushi Getting Started guide, then tap on the blue "Add repository" button on the webpage.

• This should redirect you & automatically add Keiyoushi into your compatible app.

3. Refresh your app's Browse > Extensions tab, or restart the app, and see if you are able to install/update your extensions now.

• If your extensions are still labeled as "Orphaned", they are either removed (as mentioned in the section above) or replaced, do the next optional steps:

4. In your device Settings > App list, uninstall all extensions ("Tachiyomi: extension name") to make sure you'll be using the latest version of our extensions.
5. Try reinstalling your extensions now.

• If you are unable to reinstall your extensions, come to the Keiyoushi Discord support channel for troubleshooting.
• If an extension doesn't work/have issues, search this GitHub's Issues page to see if there's a reported issue.
• Otherwise, come to the Keiyoushi Discord server, read status-updates for any known issues or ask in support channel for more troubleshooting.
