What's included
- macOS Gateway app with a normal Dock window and menu bar entry
- Bonjour LAN discovery service:
_phoneclaw-llm._tcp - iPhone pairing approval flow
- Runtime sources: Ollama, Codex CLI, and Antigravity CLI
- Local Network permission metadata for macOS
Requirements
- macOS 14 or later
- Apple Silicon Mac
- iPhone and Mac on the same LAN
- PhoneClaw iPhone build with Mac Remote support
Quick start
- Download
PhoneClawGateway-macOS-v0.1.0.zip - Unzip and open
PhoneClawGateway.app - Allow macOS Local Network permission on first launch
- Select a runtime source in the Gateway window
- On iPhone, open PhoneClaw -> Settings -> Mac Remote, tap the Mac, and approve pairing on the Mac
If you use Ollama, install/start Ollama first and pull a model, for example:
ollama pull gemma3:4bNotes
- This first Mac client build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. If macOS blocks first launch, use Finder -> right click -> Open.
- The Gateway listens on port
18080. - Remote inference sends the current request from the iPhone to your paired Mac. If the Mac runtime source calls an upstream provider, that provider's data handling applies.
