VeloWrite v0.2.11 Preview

This release continues the preview hardening work for the web editor, desktop app, downloads, and SEO/GEO discovery.

What changed

  • Added a Windows-focused guide for opening, viewing, and editing .md files.
  • Updated FAQ, sitemap, llms.txt, download copy, and README links for Windows Markdown search intent.
  • Refined public copy across roadmap, Product Hunt notes, and release-facing pages.
  • Carried forward recent desktop preview improvements: document tabs, recent files, per-tab modes, local history, quick marks, table formatting, image handling, and export polish.
  • Expanded tests around PDF export behavior and preview workflows.

  • Windows NSIS installer: VeloWrite_0.2.11_x64-setup.exe
  • Linux AppImage: VeloWrite_0.2.11_amd64.AppImage
  • Linux DEB: VeloWrite_0.2.11_amd64.deb
  • Linux RPM: VeloWrite-0.2.11-1.x86_64.rpm
  • macOS Apple Silicon DMG: built by GitHub Actions after release creation.

Notes

The Windows installer and macOS DMG are still unsigned preview builds, so Windows SmartScreen or macOS Gatekeeper may show warnings.
