VeloWrite 0.2.5 Preview

This patch focuses on making export and settings feel calmer and more production-ready.

What changed

  • Improved the dedicated PDF layout engine with a designed cover page, stable contents page, section bookmarks, and cleaner section starts.
  • Added remembered PDF export preferences for paper size, margins, page numbers, page-number position, page-number format, preview watermark, and table styling.
  • Improved Chinese and mixed-language Markdown PDF layout using the dedicated export path.
  • Moved Settings into Writing, Reading, PDF, and Tables tabs so daily writing settings are no longer mixed with advanced export controls.
  • Updated the website download metadata, changelog, and SEO/GEO helper text for v0.2.5.

Preview notes

  • Windows and macOS builds are not code-signed yet.
  • The macOS DMG is built by GitHub Actions and will be attached after the workflow finishes.
  • Preview PDF exports include a VeloWrite preview mark unless disabled in local settings.
