• React DOM now batches suspense boundary reveals, matching the behavior of client side rendering. Dependabot bumped react + @types/react to v19 but left @types/react-dom@^18. To unblock, the PR also needs @types/react-dom bumped to v19 (and likely react-dom itself, plus a check that react-pdf / merge-refs / @testing-library/react peers are happy).

The codebase runs cleanly on React 18; this is opportunistic, not urgent. Same reasoning applies to the remaining three majors (#74 plugin-react v6, #75 vitest v4, #77 vite v8) — they're all in a coordinated dep-upgrade pass that should be tackled together, not piecemeal. Returning to feature work for now.
