A maintenance release for the repository's own instruction files. The maintainer contract moves from a 1304-line CLAUDE.md into AGENTS.md, which CLAUDE.md now imports, and a new repository guard holds AGENTS.md to a 200-line budget.

Compatibility. No skill or agent behavior changes. No new agent, command, hook, or CONTEXT key, no new ## Autopilot field, and every skill keeps version: 3.0.0. The plugin files touched are comments only: the guard comment above CODE-CRAFT PRINCIPLES in two agents, and one hook script's design-boundary comment. The repository's guard counts move to guards run: 14 and self-tests run: 13.

What changed

Instruction files

  • AGENTS.md is the maintainer contract. It holds the orchestration overview, the rules for editing skills, agents, commands, hooks, and guard scripts, the checks to run, the durable-documents table, and the release pointer. CLAUDE.md is @AGENTS.md plus the two rules specific to Claude Code sessions.
  • Restated behavior is removed. Paragraphs that repeated what the skills, agents, guard headers, the plugin README, or the CHANGELOG already state are gone. The few reasons only CLAUDE.md held now sit in the headers of check-no-model-names.sh, check-run-contract.sh, check-instruction-files.sh, and check-all.sh.
  • Two corrections. The writer-agent header convention now names code-fixer's PER-ISSUE OUTPUT CONTRACT as a second hyphenated header. A frontmatter check that could not fail is dropped from the validation commands.

Guards

  • check-run-contract.sh's check 6 now holds the reviewer invariant sentence in AGENTS.md.
  • New check-instruction-lint.sh runs the instruction lint copied from the kenspc-dev-setup repository (.claude/tests/instruction-lint.ps1) on AGENTS.md: its budget line allows 200 lines and 2400 words, with no all-caps emphasis and no repo path that does not exist. The lint is PowerShell 7, so check-all.sh now needs pwsh; without it the guard exits 2 instead of passing.

Upgrading

/plugin update kenspc@kenspc-claude-plugin. Nothing to migrate.

Verification

  • No smoke run was made: no prompt text changed.
  • Pre-flight on the release tree, on macOS: the effort-override diff is clean, both claude plugin validate --strict runs pass, guards run: 14, and self-tests run: 13.
