  • Core

    • Breaking change: Require that the Context(compositionContext) is not null.
    • Breaking change: removed AmbientServices.Instance and all references to it. Each AmbientServices instance is an environment for itself, so multiple instances could be created and their environments should not collide. The single exception is Loggable.LogManager, which is currently shared.
    • NEW: Added possibility to configure externally (for example coreSettings.json) the core.
    • Breaking change: Renamed Loggable.LogManager to Loggable.DefaultLogManager. Added possibility to replace it in IAmbientServices.With*LogManager extension methods.
    • Breaking change: Made ISettingsProviderSelector tollerant when no provider is registred. In this case the configuration will return a new instance of the settings.
    • Added support for open generic app services in ContextFactory.
    • Added Loggable(ICompositionContext) constructor.

  • Messaging

    • Added Endpoint conversion to string and Uri.
    • Added possibility to configure externally (for example messagingSettings.json) the messaging.
    • Made InProcessMessageRouter use static queues, to make it usable in multi-app processes (typically for testing purposes).
    • Added exception in DefaultMessageBroker when a message with expected reply is sent but no recipients are provided.

  • Orchestration

    • Changed the default orchestration manager to provide instead of a context the options configuration.

  • Data

    • Made IDataSetupManager use optionsConfig.

  • Testing

    • Added support for Debug logging in CompositionTestBase. The log is retrieved as container.GetExport().ToString().
