Chat failed to start on launch. This release fixes that.
Chat now connects on the first try
Opening the app checked your stored token a moment after the chat connection was set up. That check flipped the app from anonymous to logged in, which rebuilt the connection — and the rebuild released the connection it had just made. Chat then received nothing, while the interface still showed it as connected. The only way out was to switch channel and come back.
Chat now waits for the token check before connecting, so it comes up authenticated the first time, with no rebuild.
A slow emote source no longer stays broken
If Twitch failed to answer for one of the three emote sources, the channel stayed half-loaded until you moved away and came back. The app now retries the failing source in the background and keeps everything that did load. A retry can only add emotes, never remove the ones you already have.
