Secousse v0.3.8
Chat fixes, and a pop-out crash on macOS.
Your own messages appear in the chat
Sending a message worked, but nothing showed it. Twitch never echoes your own message back to you — it relays it to the other viewers and answers you with a status line instead. The app rendered only what came in from other people, so your own message went out and vanished.
Your messages now appear in the chat like everyone else's, with your colour and your badges.
You can see why a message was refused
When Twitch rejects a message it says why: slow mode, subscribers only, followers only, a ban, or an account with no verified email or phone. The app received that explanation and threw it away, so the input just cleared and nothing happened.
The reason now appears in the chat.
Messages go to the channel you typed them in
The app kept a single chat connection. Opening a pop-out took it over, so anything you typed in the main window was delivered to the pop-out's channel instead — silently, because you could not see your own messages.
Each channel now has its own connection, shared between windows, and closing a pop-out no longer breaks the main window's chat.
Logging in now connects chat properly
If the app connected to chat before you logged in, it stayed anonymous. An anonymous connection can read but not send, and Twitch drops those messages without a word. Logging in now rebuilds the connection.
This is the most likely reason a fresh install could not chat at all.
Pop-out windows no longer crash on macOS
Opening a pop-out killed the app on macOS 15. The dark title bar was applied from a background thread, which AppKit no longer tolerates.
