v0.1.0-alpha: Initial Public Release

Welcome to the first public release of Kertara Messenger!

This is an early Alpha release. As we are still in the experimental phase, this build is intended for testing, feedback, and educational purposes.

Key Changes in this Release:

• Tor Integration: Implemented core anonymous routing using the Tor network.
• End-to-End Encryption: Established basic E2EE for peer-to-peer communication using standard cryptographic libraries.
• Local Vault System: Local data storage for contacts and session keys, ensuring data remains on your machine.
• User Interface: Initial GUI implementation using CustomTkinter for a modern, cross-platform look.

Known Limitations (Important):

• Experimental Security: This version has not undergone professional security audits. Please do not use it for sensitive or high-risk communications.
• Stability: You may encounter bugs, connection delays during Tor initialization, or occasional crashes.
• Platform: Currently optimized for Windows.

How to Get Started:

1. Download the release archive (.rar) from the assets below.
2. Extract all files to a folder on your computer.
3. Run kertara-messenger-v0.1.0-alpha.exe and allow a moment for the Tor network to initialize.
