Public issue tracker for MakeChart β the free, no-sign-up chart generator that turns your data into beautiful charts in seconds.
This repo is where you can request features, suggest improvements, and report bugs for any of MakeChart's chart tools. Everything is public, so you can see what others have asked for, upvote the requests you care about, and follow along as we ship.
- Search first β check existing issues to see if someone has already asked. If so, give it a π instead of opening a duplicate.
- Open a new issue β use the issue templates to file a request:
- π Feature request β a new chart type, export option, or capability
- βοΈ Improvement β a change to how an existing feature works
- π Bug report β something isn't working the way it should
- Add detail β the more context you give (screenshots, sample data, what you expected vs. what happened), the faster we can act on it.
- Upvote β react with π on the issues you'd most like to see. We use these to prioritize.
MakeChart currently supports 14 chart types. Please tag your issue with the relevant chart where possible.
We use labels to keep things organized:
featureβ new capabilityimprovementβ enhancement to existing behaviorbugβ something brokenchart:<type>β which chart the issue relates to (e.g.chart:sankey)under-reviewβ we've seen it and are considering itplannedβ on the roadmapin-progressβ being worked onshippedβ live on makechart.cowont-fixβ out of scope, with an explanation
- One request per issue β keep each issue focused so it can be tracked and prioritized on its own.
- Be specific β "add dark mode to the bar chart editor" is far more actionable than "make it better."
- Be kind β this is a public, community space. Keep discussion constructive.
- No sensitive data β don't paste private or confidential data into issues or screenshots.
