Intermittent screen off when power button pressed

What happened that you did not expect?

Here's my current setup:

So I'm using Android 16 on a Samsung Galaxy S22+ and what happens is that if I say turn my screen off, then turn it back on and try any of those power key options, it will go straight to screen off again.

My desired result is that I ONLY want the screen to go off with a single power button press.

After some time, sometimes it will go back to normal, other times it won't. Whether I use scan mode or do not remap on/off, it still remains an issue. Not sure how to resolve. I have my power button set to the disabled bixby, but just have the options you see there.

My device isn't rooted but I use Shizuku and Wireless Debugging. Again, it works fine sometimes. Like intermittently.

What did you expect to happen?

The screen stays on when I use my things.

What would the developer need to do to reproduce the bug?

1. Import my maps.
2. Test on Android 16 or Samsung Galaxy S22+
3. Try turning screen off and unlock phone after, and see what happens.
