jev-imessage v0.1.0

Copilot panel for Messages.app on macOS (iMessage / SMS). Apple Silicon only. It never sends: you press Return yourself.

Install: unzip, drag jev-imessage.app into Applications.

First open: right-click (or Control-click) → Open → Open. The app is not notarized, so a double-click is blocked once by Gatekeeper.
If macOS says the app is damaged and can't be opened (common for browser downloads), run sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/jev-imessage.app in Terminal, then open it again.

First launch: it installs its Python dependencies (needs the network once). Grant Accessibility to jev-imessage (System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility). Screen Recording is not needed.

Models: replies work out of the box through the built-in shared channel (plain HTTP relay; see PRIVACY.md) or your own OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible key. For intent and risk, add a Jev key (for example via OpenRouter) or choose the offline judge model (about 3.8 GB, downloaded only if you choose it). Config: ~/.config/jev-imessage/env or the gear icon on the panel.
