First public release.

Track time on markdown checkbox tasks carrying an [estimate:: ...] field. One timer runs at a time — starting a timer anywhere closes whatever was running, so interleaved work adds up without depending on you remembering to stop the previous task.

  • Spent time written back to the task line as a Dataview duration
  • Per-day plain-markdown session log that doubles as the repair surface
  • Lines tint yellow at 80% of the estimate, red past 100%
  • Status bar with the active task and its running time
  • Wall-clock timing: work away from the computer still counts

Install manually by dropping the three assets into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/task-timer/, or via BRAT with kfastov/obsidian-task-timer.
