WeatherMap v1.2.3

Here is another patch for WeatherMap. It includes some fixes and improvements.

Fixes

  1. When the program was installed in a protected directory, the settings.json file couldn't be created nor edited. This is fixed now. The settings file is located in a different directory when the program is installed, but still next to the WeatherMap.exe in case of a standalone version.

Improvements

  1. Before this update, when you changed the data source (from OpenMeteo to BrightSky, or vice versa), the weather condition would always reset. This has changed now: In case the selected weather condition (e.g. Cloudiness) is still available using the new data source, it stays selected. If it is not available after the change, it gets reset to the first option. If the reset happens, the dropdown blinks to make you aware of the change.
  2. You can now disable the autoplay of the animation for the weather images in the settings.
  3. The images now include more data in the title like the weather condition and data source, as well as the region size and its resolution in steps.
