Option Workstation v0.1.0
Initial public preview
Option Workstation is a local-first options research workstation for point-in-time replay, live option-chain observation, volatility and Greeks analytics, dealer-exposure research, strategy risk preview, and guarded paper-trading workflows.
Highlights
- Rust analytics and local API server with a React workstation UI
- historical replay using separately licensed local ThetaData-format datasets
- Longbridge live quotes and option-chain integration with process-memory-only credentials
- IV smile/surface, BSM Greeks, IV Rank/Percentile, RV/VRP, GEX, vanna, charm, expected move, and skew views
- executable-price strategy modeling, scenario matrices, and paper-only order safeguards
- append-only audit records, visible data-quality gates, and explicit research-only states
- Chinese and English documentation, beginner guide, Docker workflow, CI, dependency review, publication checks, and security policy
Safety and data boundaries
- The default service binds to
127.0.0.1. - Real-money order submission is intentionally unsupported.
- Paper execution is server-disabled by default and requires independent gates.
- No provider credentials or licensed market data are included in this release.
- Analytics are research tools, not investment advice or profit claims.
Verification
The release commit passed Rust, Frontend, Python Reference Smoke, Publication Guard, License Metadata, Dependency Review, RustSec, and container build/health checks. The reviewed lockfile-only RUSTSEC-2026-0235 exception is documented in SECURITY.md and guarded by an all-target dependency-reachability check.
Compatibility is not guaranteed before 1.0. See README.md, README.en.md, SECURITY.md, and docs/RELEASE_CHECKLIST.md before use.
