v0.4.5
Two fixes to os-big-picture, the skill that keeps the project map.
It asks for fewer permissions on Claude Code. Its header pre-approved the census script as Bash(${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/scripts/census.sh *), while the step told the agent to run bash "${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/scripts/census.sh" .. A Bash rule matches by the start of the command, and that command starts with bash ", so the rule never applied and Claude Code asked every time. The rule and the command now start the same way, the form os-what-could-go-wrong uses for its own script, and the first write of BIG-PICTURE.md is pre-approved next to later edits. This follows Claude Code's documented matching rule; it was not confirmed by a live interactive run.
It says what to run outside Claude Code. There ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR} is usually not set, and the census step ran a path that does not exist (exit 127, measured). The step now says to run scripts/census.sh from the folder the skill's SKILL.md is in, and to mark the measured columns "not checked" rather than estimate them when the script cannot run.
Update: git pull inside your clone, then claude plugin update open-steps@open-steps. On Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI, run the copy command again from the folder that holds the clone.
