os-ask-simple now switches on when you ask the agent for its view on a technical choice: whether something is worth doing, more than the problem needs, or replaceable by something simpler, and which option it would take. It does so even when the code makes the answer look obvious. On Opus 5.5, now the Claude Code default, three such questions that are not in the test set switched it on in 1 of 15 runs before this change and in 15 of 15 after.
The pack is re-measured on Claude Code with Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5. The right skill switched on by itself in 89%, 100% and 100% of the test runs, and no off-topic question pulled one in. The evals record now says the runs happen on the maintainer's machine with other plugins installed, and that the Codex CLI, Cursor CLI and Gemini CLI numbers were measured on the wording before this change.
