A calm, resource-friendly replacement for your browser's new tab page. It shows the current time and how far you are through the day, week, month, and year – nothing else. No feeds, no widgets, no tracking.
Highlights

- 📊 Life in progress – how much of the day, week, month, and year has elapsed, as clean progress bars. Add your birthday to also track your current year of life.
- 🎚️ Your style – compact bars, detailed bars, or a single horizontal bar.
- 🌓 Light & dark – follows your OS theme automatically, or lock it to one.
- 🔋 Suspends when idle – pauses all work when the tab isn't focused, so it costs nothing in the background.
- 🕵️ Private by design – no analytics, no tracking, no network calls. The only permission it requests is
storage, used solely to keep your settings.
Install
Download minimal-chrome-tab.zip below and unzip it, then open chrome://extensions → enable Developer mode → Load unpacked and select the folder. Full instructions, including Firefox, are in the README.
