ffupscale v0.1.0 Beta 2

This release bundles FFmpeg and FFprobe with ffupscale. Users no longer need to install FFmpeg or configure their system PATH.

Changes

  • Bundled FFmpeg and FFprobe with the Windows release
  • Added central FFmpeg executable detection
  • Retained fallback support for system FFmpeg installations
  • Improved portability and setup experience

Installation

  1. Download ffupscale-v0.1.0-beta.2-windows-x64.zip.
  2. Extract the complete ZIP.
  3. Open the extracted ffupscale folder.
  4. Run ffupscale.exe.

Do not move ffupscale.exe away from its _internal folder.

Packaging update - 21 July 2026: The Windows ZIP has been repackaged to include the required FFmpeg licence, source and build notices. The application itself is unchanged.
