Inkbound 1.14.0
Refresh your whole library in one go: Export all books.
- Export all books. A new command finds every book in your vault and exports each
one exactly as exporting its folder would: the same chapters, order, Parts, metadata,
file name and output folder, and the same push to your Boox when Push after export
is on. Use it after updating Inkbound, or after adding properties such as
descriptionorseriesto many books. - What counts as a book: a folder with a note tagged
bookandmain. A folder
inside a book is one of its Parts, a note that is only named after its folder does not
count, and neither does the top level of the vault. - Nothing happens until you confirm. A window lists the books it found, by title and
folder. Export all runs them; Cancel writes and pushes nothing. - One book failing never stops the rest. A book that cannot be built, written or
pushed is reported and the run moves on. Two books that would share a file name (titles
differing only in case or punctuation) never overwrite each other: the second is
listed as skipped before you confirm. - One account of the run. One notice counts through the books instead of two notices
per book. At the end, one summary says how many were exported, with warnings, skipped
or failed; tap it, or run Show last export report, for the report of the whole run. - Your existing export commands are unchanged, and so are the books they produce.
- Not yet tried at scale on a phone or with a real Boox. How long a large run takes on
a phone, and a long series of pushes, are listed indocs/DEVELOPMENT.mdas still to
be checked by hand.
