TreeX 1.2.0: turn the 2.5D city.
New
- ↺ ↻ buttons next to 2D / 2.5D (top right): each click turns the city by 45°, smoothly. The
QandEkeys do the same, and both are in the ⌘K palette. - Two fingers on a Mac trackpad turn the city freely. Dragging with the right mouse button (or ⌥ + drag on macOS) still works.
0turns the city back to its starting angle, the short way round.
Fixed
- On narrow windows in 2.5D, the controls at the top right covered the folder path on the left. When space is short, the height buttons now show only their icons and search shows only the magnifier; names appear on hover.
Updating: on 1.1.0, click Updates in the bottom-right corner of the home screen. From 1.0.x, install by hand this once.

Checksums: SHA256SUMS, SHA256SUMS-windows, SHA256SUMS-linux, each with its .sig signature (used by the in-app updater). Builds are not signed with a certificate yet: the first launch asks for a confirmation (macOS: right-click → Open; Windows: SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway). After updating on macOS, re-add TreeX under Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access.
