Final release: this bundle is deprecated

This bundle was released in March 2025, before Symfony offered any official way to give AI coding agents access to profiler data. That official solution now exists: Symfony AI Mate, part of the Symfony AI project. No further updates are planned here.

Moving to Mate

composer require --dev symfony/ai-mate
vendor/bin/mate init
composer require --dev symfony/ai-symfony-mate-extension symfony/ai-monolog-mate-extension
vendor/bin/mate discover

Then remove this bundle:

  1. Run composer remove killerwolf/mcp-profiler-bundle.
  2. Delete its line from config/bundles.php.
  3. Delete the mcp:server:run entry from your MCP client config.

The README lists the Agent Skills that Mate installs for your coding agent.

Changes

  • Deprecation notice in the README pointing to Symfony AI Mate and its skills (#14)
  • PHP 8.4: explicit nullable type in MCPDataCollector::collect() (#13, thanks @rodnaph)
  • CI: add a PHP CS Fixer config so the build passes again on PHP 8.1–8.4 (#14)
