Release list
ScoreRelay-RX 1.1.1
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.3
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.3
- Firmware update card. When connected to a device over Bluetooth, the Device page can now check for a newer device firmware and install it. The device downloads and installs the update itself over its own Wi-Fi and restarts when done; keep it powered meanwhile. A device set as a Sender (not on Wi-Fi) must be set to Off first.
- Includes the device-to-device link settings from 1.0.2.
- Installed copies can update from inside the app (Download, then Install).

What was tested
Automated tests pass. The update card was tested against a simulated device only, not real hardware or a real update; the installers were built but not run by us.
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.2
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.2
- Device-to-device link settings. When connected to a device over Bluetooth, the Device page has a new card to set the device to Off, Sender (on the scoreboard) or Receiver (stays online), enter the other device's address and a shared key (or create a new key, shown once), and restart to apply. Devices without the feature show a plain message.
- Installed copies can update from inside the app (Download, then Install).

ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.1
- License is now the GNU AGPL-3.0 (was MIT). The apps carry the license text, and the app footer links to the source code.
- The in-app update check now looks at this repository.
- Download file names no longer include the version, so
https://github.com/kinecio/ScoreRelay-RX/releases/latest/download/<file>always gives you the newest build. There is also a download page: https://kinecio.github.io/ScoreRelay-RX/

First launch (these builds are not signed with a paid developer certificate)
- macOS: open the
.dmg, drag ScoreRelay-RX to Applications, then right-click the app and choose Open the first time. When macOS asks to allow Bluetooth, choose Allow, then quit and reopen the app once so it takes effect. - Windows: run the setup. If SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info → Run anyway.
What was tested
- macOS (Apple Silicon): the app launches and serves its interface; the previous build (same code apart from the license and update-check changes) found and connected to a real device over Bluetooth.
- Windows and the Intel Mac build were built but not run by us yet. Bluetooth on Windows is unverified. Please report problems.
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.0
ScoreRelay-RX 1.0.0
First public release. ScoreRelay-RX receives scoreboard data from ScoreRelay devices and outputs it as JSON/TXT/hosted-TCP for overlays and automation, with a graphics designer and live output controller.
Reach a device through the ScoreRelay cloud, your local network, a USB cable, or Bluetooth (no network needed). Over Bluetooth you can also set up the device (Wi-Fi, controller, password, restart) and, for a device with no network of its own, relay it to the ScoreRelay cloud through your computer.

Bluetooth
Pick Bluetooth device (this computer), scan, choose your device and enter its admin password. The first time, your computer asks you to pair with the device using the 6-digit passkey on its label.
What was tested
- macOS (Apple Silicon): the app was launched, found a real device over Bluetooth, signed in, and relayed that device to the cloud with the device's Wi-Fi off.
- Windows and the Intel Mac build were built but not run by us yet. Bluetooth on Windows is unverified. Please report problems.
