Problem of font width / terminal size

I tried using a pixel font(https://github.com/TakWolf/ark-pixel-font) in the latest version windterm(windows).

When i switched to this font (then reboot windterm too), the original terminal width 100 would be changed to about 40, some TUI program like "btop" would deny to work due to insuffient width, and the "htop" would display in truncated width. Normal text can render currently in full line (like in the actually original width 100).

I also tried to use this font in Tabby(https://github.com/Eugeny/tabby), it works well although the font was not recognized as monospace font.

Correctly render full line with 100 characters per line, but the status bar show is in 50 character width:
