Release list
ResetMe 0.2.1
See when your allowance resets and when another reset arrives in your bank.
- Ticket markers show Codex banked-reset arrivals in the 14-day history, with dates on hover.
- Duplicate weekly-reset markers are reconciled automatically, including saved history.
- Dotted stems sit between bars, with clearer hover-date alignment.
- Last known usage stays visible when refresh fails, with a stale-data indicator.
- Prompting has clearer loading states and smoother tab transitions that respect Reduce Motion.
- The olive palette is restored while previous color overrides are backed up.
macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon. Signed and notarized. Existing installations can use Check for Updates.
Bank arrivals use dates reported by Codex; they do not indicate a reset was used. Provider history coverage varies. Your local app history stays on your Mac.
ResetMe 0.2.0
New in 0.2.0
- A new Codex Prompting tab: daily foreground time, contexts per hour, parallel sessions as a percentage, total prompts, and top-task share. Browse the last seven days and hover over each metric for its meaning.
- Human-attention metrics exclude agent-created tasks and identifiable automated prompts. Context grouping uses project folders and conservative title rules; incomplete history stays marked.
- External displays now open the panel when you hover at the top center, with nothing resting on screen. Built-in notch behavior is unchanged.
- Larger custom icons, clearer metric columns, and a compact single-row reset expiry display.
- Removed the separate Spark usage bucket.
Prompting reads local Codex history. Foreground time additionally requires enabling ResetMe in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access, then relaunching. No work history is uploaded. Parallel session percentage measures recorded task runtime, not Screen Time or attention; these are work-pattern estimates, not health scores.
macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon. Developer ID signed and notarized. Existing installations can use Check for Updates.
ResetMe 0.1.4
ResetMe has a new leaf identity and an olive, forest-green, and cream palette across the app and website.
- New app icon and monochrome menu-bar leaf.
- Updated chart colors, highlights, and day details.
- Better spacing between history bars when reset markers are present.
- Existing experimental colors migrate to the new palette while preserving other settings.
Signed and notarized for macOS 14+ on Apple silicon. Existing users can choose Check for Updates… in ResetMe.
ResetMe 0.1.3
ResetMe 0.1.3 makes usage history quicker to open and easier to explore.
- Statistics preload and refresh in the background, with an on-device cache for faster relaunches.
- The 14-day chart shows recorded weekly resets, including multiple resets on a day, with compact date tooltips.
- Day cards include “Click for details,” and hover stripes move more smoothly in the chart and breakdown.
- Hide the menu-bar icon for notch-only use, and restore it from Settings in the notch.
- A cleaner, aligned menu includes the installed app version.
Reset history depends on observed quota data; some dates are inferred. Historical quota recovery is currently available for Codex. Costs remain partial API-equivalent estimates, not subscription charges.
Existing users: choose Check for Updates… in ResetMe. New users: open ResetMe.dmg and drag ResetMe to Applications.
Requires macOS 14 or later and an Apple silicon Mac with a notched display.
ResetMe 0.1.2
ResetMe now stays quiet until you need it.
- Hover over the notch to open it anytime.
- Reveal the indicator for five seconds when a usage refresh detects a change.
- Keep it visible while selected apps are in the foreground, or enable Always on.
- Choose installed AI apps, editors, and terminals in Settings, or add any app. Selecting a terminal covers every CLI inside it.
- Use “Show while [current app] is active” in the menu for quick setup.
Download ResetMe.dmg, open it, and drag ResetMe to Applications. Existing users can choose Check for Updates….
Requires macOS 14 or later and an Apple silicon Mac with a notched display. Quota sources remain Codex and Claude; app selection controls visibility.
ResetMe 0.1.1
Download ResetMe.dmg, open it, and drag ResetMe to Applications.
Requires macOS 14+, an Apple silicon Mac with a notched display, and an existing Codex or Claude Code sign-in. The app is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple.
Fixes Claude getting stuck on “Connecting…” when macOS Keychain does not return. The app now stops waiting after two seconds and explains that the sign-in could not be read. Repeated refreshes cannot accumulate blocked lookups.
Hover over the notch to see usage and the next reset. Choose Codex or Claude in the panel. Show/hide and Check for Updates are in the menus.
ResetMe-macos.zip is the signed Sparkle update archive. SHA256SUMS contains checksums. The full demo includes music.
