Claude models not showing in model selector for AWS Builder ID (Pro Plan)

All Claude models (Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5, etc.) have completely
disappeared from the model selector. Only open-weight models are visible:

• Deepseek v3.2
• MiniMax M2.5
• MiniMax M2.1
• GLM 5
• Qwen3 Coder Next

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Kiro IDE
2. Click on "Select Model" in the chat panel
3. Observe that zero Claude models are listed

Expected Behavior
Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Haiku 4.5 should be visible
and selectable as they were before.

Actual Behavior
No Claude models appear in the list at all.

Environment

• Kiro Version: 0.8.140
• OS: Linux (Ubuntu)
• Auth Method: AWS Builder ID
• Plan: Pro

Additional Context
Claude models were working fine before today (May 2, 2026).
This issue seems to have started suddenly without any update on our end.
This is a paid Pro plan — not being able to use Claude models is
a significant problem.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Kiro IDE (Version 0.8.140)
2. Login with AWS Builder ID (Pro Plan)
3. Open any project or create New Session
4. Click on "Select Model" dropdown at bottom of chat panel
5. Observe the model list — no Claude models appear anywhere

Expected Behavior

Claude models (Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5) should be visible
and selectable in the model dropdown, as they were working
fine before today (May 2, 2026) on AWS Builder ID Pro Plan.

Why is this marked as duplicate?
Both issues report problems with the model selector functionality - the new issue shows Claude models missing from selector, while #5522 reports model selector not working correctly and being stuck at auto mode. Both involve the same UI component failing to display/select models properly.

Hey team, just wanted to add that this issue is affecting a lot of
Pro plan subscribers using AWS Builder ID.

I and many others are completely unable to use Claude models since
May 2, 2026 — they have simply vanished from the model selector
with no prior notice or changelog update.

We are paying for Pro plan specifically to access Claude models
(Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6 etc.) and right now the subscription feels
pointless without them.

A few things that would really help:

1. Please give us an official acknowledgment that this is a known issue
2. An ETA on when Claude models will be restored for Builder ID users
3. If this is a permanent change, please update the pricing/plan page
   accordingly so users know what they are paying for

This is not just a feature request — it is a regression that is
actively breaking paid workflows. Please prioritize this.
