  • App list service performance: indexed PID-to-path resolution to replace O(apps × processes) scans with O(1) lookups, and reused 4 KiB buffers during proc_pidpath queries to eliminate memory allocation churn.
  • Battery sampler efficiency: added an 8-second watchdog timer to system_profiler child processes to prevent thread hangs, cached system health queries with background refreshes, and precompiled capacity regex matching.
  • Status bar polling optimization: unified power-source sampling so battery throttle checks and menu bar status updates share a single query per tick.

Install

  1. Download QuitX-v1.1.3.dmg (or .zip) from Assets below.
  2. Open the disk image and drag QuitX to your /Applications folder. The zip contains the same app if you prefer archives.
