Care you can find. Support you can trust.

Kitajaga is a location-based caregiver marketplace that helps families arrange trusted assistance for elderly patients. It brings caregiver discovery, booking, patient guidance, progress updates, communication, reporting, and payment into one coordinated experience.

Kitajaga is currently in active MVP development. The first release focuses on elderly-patient assistance for visits to hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Why Kitajaga?

Many families in the sandwich generation cannot always accompany their parents to medical appointments or provide day-to-day assistance. Finding a suitable caregiver at short notice can also be difficult, expensive, and uncertain.

Kitajaga is designed to make that process:

  • Fast - request immediate or scheduled assistance.
  • Trusted - view caregiver information and service history.
  • Safe - share patient-specific guidance before a service begins.
  • Transparent - follow checkpoint-based progress and communicate in real time.
  • Accountable - receive a caregiver report before completing the service.

How it works

  1. A family creates a patient profile.
  2. They request an immediate or scheduled caregiver.
  3. Kitajaga matches suitable available caregivers using distance, rating, and service history.
  4. The selected caregiver reviews the patient's guidebook before accepting the booking.
  5. The family follows service checkpoints and communicates through booking-specific chat.
  6. The caregiver submits a final report.
  7. The family reviews the report, rates the service, and the held payment is released.

Progress is shared through meaningful checkpoints instead of continuous GPS streaming. Typical checkpoints include heading to the patient, arriving at the facility, waiting, consultation, and returning home.

MVP boundaries

The following capabilities are intentionally outside the first release:

  • Automated refunds and dispute management
  • Caregiver tiers and dynamic pricing
  • OCR-based verification
  • Push notifications
  • SOS and automated no-show handling
  • Admin and analytics dashboards
  • Machine-learning recommendations

These boundaries keep the MVP focused on validating the complete booking-to-report experience.

Project status

Kitajaga is an early-stage project and is not yet intended for production healthcare use. Payment, safety, caregiver verification, privacy, and operational procedures must be completed before a public launch.
