Scrawl now runs on macOS 15 (Sequoia) as well as macOS 26. On macOS 15 narration is transcribed with the older on-device recognizer, and onboarding asks for Speech Recognition. Thanks @bborn. (#14)

Scrawl can lower other audio while you record, so music or a video doesn't end up in your narration. Thanks @LukasFB. (#19)

Apple Speech can transcribe in a language other than the Mac's: pick it in Settings › Recording. Thanks @salmonumbrella. (#52)

You can plug in any local speech model with the new command transcriber: Scrawl runs your command on the recording's audio and uses the text it prints. Thanks @ajbarryiii. (#50)

Arrows and circles you draw are now recognized, including one-stroke arrows and flat or tailed circles. Thanks @will-bogusz. (#55)

The paste shortcut can be turned off in Settings. Thanks @third774 for asking. (#66)

Keyframes in the contact sheet and frames show just their number in a small white chip. (#71)

A pasted capture now tells the agent to look at the frames, not only read the transcript. (#74)

Clicks on Scrawl's own helper windows, such as the permission panel, are no longer recorded in your captures. (#78)

The Scrawl website has a demo that starts recording on the first tap, and links to it show a short preview video. (#67, #72, #73)

Scrawl no longer trusts the eMudhra root certificates that were found compromised (rustls-webpki 0.103.16). (#77)

The Windows build is still unsigned, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
