This release requires both npm run build and php artisan migrate.
There are other optional artisan commands you may want to run listed below.
The Big Change
The big change is templates. Previously, they were zip files stored locally. You had to turn one into a project to edit it, then save your new project as a new template. It was awkward. Now they're stored in the database so you can edit them without creating new projects. It's awkward to be sure, but it's good enough.
If you have zip file templates you'd like to pull into the database, run:
php artisan templates:convert-to-projects
Change Log File
I asked Claude to paraphrase the changes for me and it wrote a changelog. It's too big to paste in here, but you can check it out if you want to see the details. I don't plan to have a running change log, but it's a good enough place to stash the list of changes for this release. I may delete it after this.
Other Changes
- I added a link to the public documentation in the header.
- Exporting markdown was pulling every task, whether or not the heading was folded. That's a bug. It is squashed.
