Same app, same UI as 1.1.0 — this release fixes mod loading on macOS.

JALib and JALib-dependent mods now load

JALib crashed on startup with InvalidProgramException: Invalid IL code, taking PACL2 and anything else built on it down with it. JALib reverse-patches Harmony's private internals by matching their IL; Harmony 2.4 rewrote that machinery, so the match failed and produced a broken stub. Harmony 2.3 and earlier have no Apple Silicon detour support, so neither stock version worked.

This release ships a hybrid: 0Harmony 2.3.6 (thin) — the internals JALib expects — backed by MonoMod.Core 1.3.3, the Apple-Silicon-capable detour engine from Harmony 2.4.2.

Settings menu no longer crashes on Esc

Opening the pause menu could crash with ArgumentOutOfRangeException in SettingsMenu. UMM was forcing MonoMod's Cecil backend on macOS, which emits each patched method into a freshly generated assembly. Game code that resolves types by unqualified name then breaks — Type.GetType(string) searches mscorlib plus the calling assembly, so a patched Assembly-CSharp method stops finding its own types. ADOFAI's SettingsMenu.UpdateSetting does exactly that before calling Enum.GetValues, so it threw during Awake, left the settings list half-built, and the next Esc indexed past the end. Windows was never affected. The forced backend is gone.

Notes

  • Harmony 2.4-only API (infix / inner patches) is unavailable until JALib supports 2.4. No known ADOFAI mod uses it.
  • Existing installs: reinstall from this app to pick up the new payload.

Requires: macOS 13+, Apple Silicon.
