accshift is a desktop app that lets you switch between accounts on game launchers (Steam, Riot, Battle.net, Epic Games, Ubisoft Connect, Roblox, GOG Galaxy, Jagex Launcher, Discord) in one click, without typing your password every time. It runs locally on your PC and does not ask for launcher passwords; Roblox also supports explicitly pasting its login cookie.
This wiki documents the current 1.0.x releases. Where a page and the app
disagree, the app is right and the page is a bug worth reporting.
The interface ships in seven languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
Windows is the primary target. macOS supports Steam and Battle.net, Linux supports Steam; the other launchers are Windows-only because they have no usable client on those operating systems.
-
Windows:
winget install klNuno.Accshift, or the NSIS or MSI installer from Releases. - Linux: deb, rpm or AppImage from Releases.
-
macOS: dmg from Releases. The build is unsigned for now, so run
xattr -cr /Applications/Accshift.apponce if Gatekeeper complains.
Windows keeps itself up to date in the background, see Updates.
The first time you open accshift, a short tour walks you through the basics (adding accounts, switching, settings), then asks whether you want to share the enhanced usage statistics. That screen has two answers, and the one that declines leaves the anonymous counters on. Nothing is sent before you answer, and everything, counters included, can be switched off afterwards in Settings > Privacy. See Anonymous analytics.

Preview means the GUI and CLI are implemented and mechanically tested on
Windows, but the complete sign-in flow still needs broader testing with real
accounts.
