Simbioza 0.2.11
Simbioza 0.2.11
- The English and Croatian READMEs introduce optional Confluence migration near
the top and include the approved playable walkthrough. - The Confluence import user guide includes the video and poster as local page
attachments, with British English narration, English captions, blurred private
identities, and an explanation of Simbioza's built-in table of contents. - New installations receive the video in the starter guides; normal updates
deliver it to existing guides. The updater preserves page identity, position,
permissions, and unrelated content, saves a recovery archive, and does not
reimport an unchanged package. - The private demo module 0.1.6 carries the video and descriptions in six locales.
The live demo article and its reset baseline have been updated deliberately,
without resetting visitor pages or changing users and permissions.
The full local browser/API/performance suite passed 80 tests. The PHP suite,
focused guide-upgrade regression, cross-user asset ownership test, and live
browser playback on GitHub, HFC, and demo were verified. Both guide packages
contain the exact approved video bytes.
No new database migrations or application module versions are required.
Confluence Import is not added to installations where it is absent, and
updating does not repeat imports or alter imported business content. Make a
restorable backup before updating as usual.
Simbioza 0.2.10
Simbioza 0.2.10
This release combines HTML Editor 0.1.39, optional Confluence Import 0.1.44,
and updated translations in all six supported languages.
- Confluence imports transfer only current attachments by default. Earlier page
and attachment versions require an explicit Page and attachment history selection. - The completion summary and permanent report distinguish current files from
historical versions and their failures, including for older completed jobs. - Images retain Confluence's source width/height, proportions, and center/right
alignment, including after opening and saving in the editor. They remain
responsive on narrow screens, and the editor's width presets remain available. - Confluence Import 0.1.44 also completes the standalone module's English and
Croatian version label, identified by the full application's CI translation audit.
The real NR archive was imported in an isolated browser session: 246 pages and
378 current attachments, no transfer failures, and no attempted import of its
61 historical versions. The full local browser/API/performance suite passed 80 tests.
Make a restorable backup before updating. No new database migrations are added.
Installed copies of the optional importer are updated; it is not added to
installations that do not already have it. Installed language packs are refreshed.
Updating does not rewrite existing pages or repeat an import. To apply the
improved image presentation to existing content, repeat the import from the
original ZIP after upgrading and review replacement, identity, and permission
options before confirming it. Enable history only if older versions are required.
Simbioza 0.2.9
Simbioza 0.2.9
The optional Confluence Import module is upgraded to 0.1.42.
Dates stored only in an empty Confluence time element's datetime attribute now become visible text before HTML sanitization. This preserves dates in tables, paragraphs, and supported rich-text macros, including after editing and saving the imported page. Existing visible date labels are retained; date values and time zones are not changed.
Historical attachment versions now resolve their binary files using the original logical attachment ID. Exports using the historical record ID are still supported, and an exact requested version takes priority over a newer fallback. This fixes false “attachment not found” errors for older versions present in the archive.
Regression tests cover both fixes in the module and the integrated browser import/reimport workflow. No new translations or database migrations are required.
Make a restorable backup before updating. Existing installations without Confluence Import do not have it installed automatically. Installed copies are upgraded through the normal application/module update. To recover dates missing from previously imported content, repeat the import from the original ZIP after upgrading; updating alone does not rewrite existing pages. Review identity and permission mappings before confirming a replacement import.
Simbioza 0.2.8
Simbioza 0.2.8
The optional Accessibility module is upgraded to 0.1.5. Lower-right notifications now reserve space above its visible launcher instead of appearing behind it. The rule covers shared application messages, module notifications, and dynamically created Comment and Task messages.
The offset follows the launcher's size, screen safe area, and text scaling. Long Comment and Task messages wrap within narrow screens, including at 200% text size. When the widget is absent or hidden, notifications retain their original position. Upper and left-side notifications are unchanged. The fix works with both light and dark themes.
Existing widget controls and translations in Croatian, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian remain unchanged. No new text or database migrations are introduced.
Make a restorable backup before updating. Existing installations without the Accessibility module do not have it installed automatically; installed copies are updated with the normal application/module update.
Simbioza 0.2.7
Simbioza 0.2.7
The optional Accessibility module is upgraded to 0.1.4. Its first-party widget now has theme-aware cards, visible on/off states, an active preference count, and bounded text sizing from 100% to 200%. Reusable controls and icons are built by the cached local script, keeping the HTML response inside the existing performance budget.
New controls include independent line height, paragraph spacing, text weight, heading emphasis, yellow-on-black high contrast, high/low saturation and monochrome filters, a reading guide and mask, and a large cursor. Existing bundled fonts, semantic color palettes, link emphasis, stronger focus indicators, and reduced motion remain available. Every control is translated into Croatian, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.
Preferences remain local to the browser and application path, synchronize between open tabs, and preserve earlier settings. The panel supports keyboard navigation and narrow screens. High contrast takes precedence over color filters; unsupported filters and blocked browser storage are explained. No external scripts or font services are loaded. The widget is a personal presentation aid, not a substitute for accessible content or an accessibility-conformance guarantee.
There are no database migrations. Make a restorable backup before updating. Existing installations without the Accessibility module do not have it installed automatically; installed copies are updated with the normal application/module update.
Simbioza 0.2.6
Simbioza 0.2.6
The new installation guide replaces the former Installation page in User guides. Its Apache mod_php and PHP-FPM subpages cover the ordinary and isolated FPM paths, prerequisites, web-server configuration, first administrator, package preparation, and subsequent maintenance. The bundled guides are available to new installations and are refreshed on existing sites during the application update without replacing unrelated pages or their permissions.
The first-installation wizard now selects all optional modules by default. Deselect any modules you do not need. For Apache mod_php or ordinary FPM without the dedicated Setup helper, php scripts/installation_packages.php prepare prepares all optional packages before opening the wizard; --modules=theme,calendar prepares a smaller set, and --modules= prepares none. The CLI choice and wizard selection must match. Dedicated isolated FPM can prepare selected packages through Setup.
There are no database migrations. Make a restorable backup before updating. Existing installations do not have modules added automatically: the new default applies only to a fresh installation.
Simbioza 0.2.5
Simbioza 0.2.5
This release fixes language consistency in Workspace page operations. The copy/move page screen now localizes the source Workspace and page names and includes complete guidance translations. Editing a localized document title from the normal web session now also synchronizes the matching title in the Workspace tree.
The public language catalogue revision 2026.09.29.1 adds the three new transfer messages in Croatian, English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian. The application resolves Workspace module 0.1.38.
There are no database migrations. Take a restorable backup before upgrading through Setup or php update.php.
Simbioza 0.2.4
Simbioza 0.2.4
The isolated PHP-FPM pool now explicitly allows up to 900 seconds for the
initial installer and module operations. On the tested macOS/PHP 8.5 build,
the previous max_execution_time = 0 still terminated a request after about
60 seconds: the browser could show 503 although the restricted Setup worker
finished successfully in the background. The new pool was verified to return
a normal response after a 65-second request.
Updating application files alone does not change an existing isolated FPM
system pool. After upgrading, rerun scripts/configure_fpm_setup.php --install
with the same instance name, application root, and port, then check the pool
and service. Do not reuse the same instance name for another application
directory. Ordinary FPM and Apache mod_php are unaffected.
On an already installed site, rerun --finalize with the same arguments
afterwards to restore final application-file ownership.
There are no database migrations. Take a restorable backup before upgrading.
See the FPM installation guide for the full steps.
Simbioza 0.2.3
Simbioza 0.2.3
The isolated PHP-FPM setup now accepts a unique --instance name for each
Simbioza site on one host. Separate system users, groups, deployment helpers,
FPM configurations, and services prevent the second installation from
overwriting the first. Reusing an instance name for another application root
is rejected before system changes begin. Existing installations that omit
--instance retain their previous names and behavior.
The installation guides now document the required inherited maintainer ACL
for macOS Apache mod_php installations. Without it, the graphical installer
can create private files that the later CLI updater cannot read. The FPM
guides also set a 900-second web-server gateway wait for long-running
graphical package preparation; an upstream timeout should be aligned if one
is present. This changes neither the application's package permissions nor
the request limits of unrelated sites.
No database migration is included. Before updating, make a restorable backup.
For a new site, follow the complete installation guide,
including the permissions and web-server checks for its selected PHP mode.
Simbioza 0.2.1
Simbioza 0.2.1
This release fixes a PHP memory exhaustion during the verification of a large
Confluence XML archive. The import job now stores only the inventory needed for
identity mapping instead of keeping every page and attachment in its database
summary. Job lists and upload cancellation no longer load that large summary.
The later import steps can temporarily raise their own PHP memory limit to
512 MB. If the server prohibits this, the importer reports a clear memory-limit
requirement before modifying content. Administrators can adjust
import_memory_limit_mb in the Confluence import module configuration for
particularly large archives. PHP-FPM must permit the configured limit.
Update the application through Setup or the CLI after making a restorable
backup. Installed optional modules are updated during the application update;
the Confluence import module must reach version 0.1.38. Language packs have a
separate revision and can be refreshed through Setup when installed.
An unsuccessful upload from before this release should be cancelled before
retrying. Removing that upload does not delete the original Confluence export.
The actual import of a large archive can take time; keep the import view open
and consult the recent-jobs list or technical log if it reports an error.
